Among them is 'Mamsam Vepudu', a local delicacy of Hyderabad that is prepared using Boneless lamb sauteed firmly with spring spices. While preparing this dish, the meat pieces are washed thoroughly by adding turmeric in the water. Onion and a variety of spices, such as, cumin seeds, garlic, and pepper are crushed and fried in oil.

Later, the pieces of boneless lamb are added to the mixture and cooked for about 10 minutes on a medium flame.

A cup of water is again added and the meat is cooked for about half an hour. Some more spices like coriander powder and red chilli powder are added and mixed well. After the meat has been completely roasted on a medium flame, it is removed and garnished with cilantro.
